What we do
Success Story
- Establishment of Neonatal unit: Establishment of the newborn unit has been a tremendous success to the hospital. This unit caters for newborns with complications that need constant monitoring and supportive care. In eight months, (January to August 2018) we have had a total admission of 229 neonates with 39 deaths.
- Creation of separate mother and child health clinic: Since May this year, the hospital has separated all treatment of children under five, lactating mothers and pregnant women from the outpatient department. Every patient in any of these categories now visits directly the MCH clinic without recourse to the OPD. This has significantly shortened the time for their treatment and increased number of patients seen and treated.
